Crystal clear resin has been designed specifically to meet the needs of creative applications.
There are all kinds of epoxy resin products on the market that fulfill certain areas of need; for example, other brands tout their adhesive strength, 5 minute cure time, low cost, etc. As artists, we tried many of these resin products while searching for an ideal resin product to use on our artwork… only to realize it didn’t exist at the time. ArtResin was developed in response to the limitations (from an artist’s perspective) of these other brands—it was created to offer the longterm protection against yellowing and non-toxic advantages that artists want for their work.

If you using Color pigment for your project then you can see the 90% similar out put results from both Crystal clear and Clear resin. If you hope to do your project with colors then it is worth to buy Clear resin.you cannot see noticeable difference on both outputs.

Also you can polish Common Clear epoxy to become similar out put as Crystal clear resin.

High quality Crystal clear Epoxy resin perfect for making jewelries, models and more!. This epoxy resin do not smell, generate very low heat (during curing process), and you can use on photographs. This epoxy specially formulated for ornament making, wood tops , laminating & sealing artwork where crystal clear application is required. This product has extremely effective sealing property and bonds almost any surface.
Cold-curing, two-component casting resin consisting of bis-phenol A-hydrochloride and epoxy hardener, very low viscosity (very pour-able), cured material is 100% colorless and transparent, to a large extent shrinkage-free, particularly pour-able resin that produces a highly transparent cast piece that has a very smooth, high glossy, polishable surface.. Mixing ratio of resin to hardener 3:1 and DE-molding time is 8-15 hours, temperature resistant up to app. 200 °C,
shelf life when properly stored: about 16 months (resin & hardener).
This Crystal resin is completely colorless, and this premium epoxy do not turn yellow overtime. Even when poured in thin coats it cures without stickiness, which makes it as great a choice for transparent coatings as it is for the embedding and covering of objects. Normally used in an un-reinforced form but it can also be used in a reinforced form as a laminating resin even if there are in fact other, probably better resins that have been specially developed for just that purpose.
